If your PS3 has trouble ejecting or taking in discs, or you have broken the red and black cable on your PS3 drive, it is very likely that you need to replace the Optical Disc Sensor.
The Optical Disk sensor lives on top of the BD-DVD-ROM and detects when a disk is inserted or ejected from the console. Without it, it cannot accept discs correctly and also cannot eject disks properly.
Drive Sensors are a VERY hard to find item, so stop looking, you have found it! |
