The flatmii is a device out of Spain that emulates the Wii DVD drive to allow control by a PC. This means you can run your with with or without a DVD ROM and load ISO's directly from your PC. It can be used standalone which does not need a drive present at all, or it can run parallel with your existing DVD ROM.
Installation is very easy, you simple plug the DVD Rom Drivecable (orange cable) directly into the FLATMII and optionally plug the DVD ROM into the FLATMII for passthrough mode! Please note: the flatmii will NOT act as a modchip to the DVD ROM, while it is compatible with every modchip currently on the market it will not boot up imported or backed up disks - it will allow you to load and play ISO files from your PC but not backup/import game discs.
Currently, the FLATMII is compatible with all Windows XP and VISTA systems, both 32 and 64 bit. Do away with disc loading, wear and tear and DRE's forever when you can have your own system 'JUKE BOX'. The FLATMII is perfect for gaming lounges, home, work, or just about anywhere else where regular game changing and disc theft/wear and tear may be a problem for you.
