Skinning is relatively simple with EDGE which means changing the look and feel of the cart is easily achieved with skin packs and language packs. There are currently 5 languages supported by EDGE DS.
Another great feature of this flash cart is that while is supports standard TF (MicroSD) and SDHC (High Speed, High Capacity MicroSD) that can store massive numbers of ROMs, this does not cause a hit to performance like most other cards. Most cards will have much slower menu response and scrolling speed with larger cards, but the Edge DS handles these perfectly!
The EDGE DS cart does not have a spring loaded memory card slot which removes another point of failure and thus helps keep the fault rate very very low.
