These Xbox 360 laser are a brand new Hitachi SF-HD63 Original Laser for Hitachi Xbox 360 drives. If your 360 laser has died or your console is having problems reading backups even after tweaking the pot's, these are a great solution to get your Xbox 360 up and running again. Some Samsung Xbox 360 drives also come with the HD63 lasers in them, so you are able to use these Xbox 360 laser in the Samsung drives that already had the HD63 lasers in them.
For those customers who are going to be using these Xbox 360 lasers with chipped consoles and will be tweaking the pots, we recommend trying the laser first at its original setting, and if not 100% reduce the ohms by 0.20 until it works 100%. Just remember not to take these lasers under 2.8kohms. When using these HD-63 in Samsung drives, 99% of the time they do not need to be tweaked like Hitachi drives do.
Please note that these are Original Hitachi SF-HD63 and not the China OEM ones. We found that the China made OEM HD63 would only work in Hitachi drives and not the Samsungs even though there was a HD-63 in the Samsung. These brand new Original HD63 laser will work in both Samsung & Hitachi drives that had HD63 in them to start with. These are brand new.
Please note that these Xbox 360 lasers have an anti-static solder point that will need to be removed with a soldering iron before use. |
