The Samsung MS28 DVD drive is a brand new drive replacement for the your XBOX 360 console. Why are we offering this product we hear your ask? Well! drive problems are becoming more and more common and sometimes simply replacing the laser of your old DVD ROM is not always possible.
DVD Controllers die, FIRMWARE can corrupt and DRIVE MECHANISMS fail. Does your drawer get stuck? Ejecting becoming a problem for you? Then you may already need a brand new drive!
The second reason we have started to stock the Samsung MS28 is due to the Philips Lite-On drive. The drive is now found in all XBOX 360 consoles manufactured after APRIL 2008 (DG12D2S) and simply cannot be flashed! So now, with the help of a MAX232, Xecuter Connectivity V3 kit or 360-Xtractor, you can read the drive key from an original Philips Lite-On drive, apply it to a custom firmware and load it onto the Samsung MS28.
Please note: you cannot simply replace the DVD ROM in your XBOX 360 without further hardware modification. You MUST extract the DRIVE KEY from the drive you are replacing and flash it onto the new drive. If you cannot do this, you MUST SEEK THE ASSISTANCE OF A PROFESSIONAL. |
