| If getting a presoldered clip, it will be shipped in D2E mode, if you require any other version, then you will need to tell us, or your chip may not work correctly.
The Wii-Clip is not a modchip, it is a solderless interface that can be used on D2C consoles to install the D2Pro 9 wire without wires! Please note that there is 1 point on the d2pro that is usually soldered to onto a pad. Point J. This point passes through a resistor before hitting the IC. We have been testing it out, and every single Wii will work fine, 100% solderless. If it doesn't work on your Wii please be prepared to solder 1 wire. If this is beyond you, then you might want to consider the other d2pro.
D2pro has automatic region detection. We will test these out on a console here, and then wipe the d2pro clean and reinstall the firmware, so that its 100% new when you get it.
Please read the official page in full to understand the product.
Can it come loose?
No. The guys that designed the clip have a very good factory doing this for them. The Wii-Clip hugs the IC so tight that onces its on.....its really on. We think that there is a very small chance that the vibration of the Wii will move the clip as there is no where for it to really move. The Wii-Clip slightly blocks the air flow inside the wii - but with correct installation it shouldn't be a problem.
D2E Notes (if getting a chip soldered on):
* 50% of people with D2E chipsets and D2E d2pros will have to solder 1 wire manually (the J point). You will require a soldering iron for this
* D2E d2pros don't work as well on d2c2/d2c chipsets. If you let us know what chipset you have (if in Australia just tell us your serial number) we will either flash the best firmware on for you, or provide you with a green stickered d2pro. If you fail to read this, the d2pro will either not work, or be a bit sluggish. To fix this you will need to buy a d2prog programmer.
* These D2pros work on D2B (older wiis) as well. Please let us know if you have these chip as well, as we need to solder the modchip differntly for you.
* In short, just let us know what type of Wii you have so we can help make this easier for you.If you do not know, we can tell you if you give us the barcode on your Wii
