PS3 Modchip Development in full swing
As development slows down on kernel and OS hacks for the Playstation 3, we are finally starting to see more hardware based solutions on the horizon.
Many teams are working hard to produce the first hardware-based PS3 hack. We have received pictures of a hack involving on-the-fly DVD/BD patching which seems to be the norm these days as with the Wii and XBOX360.

I hope that this new mod will be backwards compatible for my NTSC PS2 and my old NTSC PSOne games. My PS2 is waaay too slow. I can’t wait for this new mod. Here’s hoping that it will be around soon.
