The PSP 3000 and ‘unmoddable’ V3 PSP-2000 (TA-088 revision motherboard) can now be modified!

While we can now install and run custom firmware on these consoles. The custom firmware (CFW) is not stored in the onboard flash, but rather in RAM.

This means the CFW will not overtake your console completely and permanently, each time you power cycle your PSP (remove battery or fully reboot), your console will revert to normal system firmware.

We will give you the software on your memory stick to reload the CFW, so there is nothing to worry about! You can load the custom firmware whenever you like once we have set it up for you.

Recently, the latest installment of the DS was released in Australia, the Nintendo DSi.

In order to take full advantage of the multimedia capabilities including movies, music and additional homebrew applications, you are going to have to get yourself a flashcard.

Currently, Quantronics have two on offer. The Acekard2i and DSTTi. Whilst they both essentially do the same thing, we have found the DSTTi to slightly edge out the AK2i on stability.

The DSTTi is next to impossible to crash with normal use where the Ak2i is more prone to lockups and crashes.
