PSP 3000 and 2000 v3 (TA-88) MOD FINALLY AVAILABLE

Posted on 8 June 2009 by clinton

The PSP 3000 and ‘unmoddable’ V3 PSP-2000 (TA-088 revision motherboard) can now be modified!

While we can now install and run custom firmware on these consoles.  The custom firmware (CFW) is not stored in the onboard flash, but rather in RAM.

This means the CFW will not overtake your console completely and permanently, each time you power cycle your PSP (remove battery or fully reboot), your console will revert to normal system firmware.

We will give you the software on your memory stick to reload the CFW, so there is nothing to worry about!  You can load the custom firmware whenever you like once we have set it up for you.

Lite-On DG12D2S Solution now available!

Posted on 2 October 2008 by clinton

If you have purchased an XBOX 360 manufactured after APRIL 2008, you will have noticed you have a DVD ROM that simply cannot be modifed.  You should also find it is very difficult to read any data at all from the DRIVE.

The only solution right now is to connect a MAX232 or compatible interface to the drive and solder wires to create an interface from your PC to the drive.

Once interfaced to your PC, you will need to use a MAX232 compatible device to extract the DVD Key.  Software used to do this can be DVDKEY, DVDKEY32, MAXIMUS TOOLBOX and a few others.

The rest of the process is also an arduous task and is not completed easily.  This includes putting the drive into MODE B, ejecting the tray exactly half-way, powering down the drive and connecting to it again, retrieving the DRIVE KEY (inquiry.bin) and then preparing it into a new firmware and flashing onto a NEW DRIVE.

DeViLs360 has created a great step-by-step guide on exactly how to do this which can be found here.

You can buy the Xecuter Connectivity Kit v3, Maximus 360-Xtractor and the target drive from us right now.
